When a ScrapeMap is open in the ScrapeMap Explorer Pane DataAddresses, Actions and InstructionSets can be selected and edited. Highlight a DataAddress, Action or InstructionSet and right click to bring up the Context Menu. In the screenshot below the DataAddress for ModelNum has been right clicked. From the Context Menu an item can be Cut, Copied, Paste, and Renamed. An item can also be re-selected when different data or additional data needs to be captured for inclusion in the ScrapeMap.
When a DataAddress in a ScrapeMap is right clicked and ReSelect is selected, the Wizard Pane opens above the ScrapeMap. The DataAddress Name and Description can be changed here, or additional data can be selected in the Source Browser Pane. Selecting additional instances of the data you want is sometimes needed if the original DataAddress or Action did not target all of the instances you want.
There is also a Reset Selector option which will clear all previous selector data to allow a clean reselect of the data needed.
Any Actions that are included in the InstructionSet are listed in the bottom with a green background. In the screenshot below there are BrowseTo and ClickNext Actions.
Actions can also be right clicked and edited. If the Reselect option for the BrowseToAction is chosen the Wizard Pan is opened with instructions at the top to “ReSelect the new link…”:
For the ClickNext Action the Max Times Performed can also be edited here to control the number of additional “next” pages that will be included in the ScrapeMap.
Note that while DataAddresses and Actions can be edited in the ScrapeMap Explorer Pane, changes to an InstructionSet’s website URL’s, output file names and locations are made through the Properties Dialog. Properties can be accessed through the Properties button (Wrench icon) in the ScrapeMap Explorer Toolbar or through the Action, DataAddress or InstructionSet Context Menu.
